The Lily of the Valley

Jesus is the Lily of the valley. There are some situations that we end up being in and we we really don't expect Jesus to be there. I mean, who would expect a beautiful Lily to be in a valley? I believe that the Lily was in the valley to save someone going through the valley. Jesus didn't stay in heaven where all was perfect, but he came down to earth (in our own environment) to save us. The Lily was in the valley to bring beauty to an empty, lonely, hopeless place. When  a wanderer stumbled upon the Lily in the valley, they immediately turned from a feeling of disappointment and hopelessness to hope. They had hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. They had hope that their situation would get better. They realized that just because their situation is bad does not mean that it will produce bad from it. The valley is not such a great place but it produced a Lily. Your situation is not good but it will be like the Lily in the valley and produce good.
