Do Not Be Apart of This World

"Do not conform to the matters of this world but be instead transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye be made whole..." Romans (unknown verses)


Many times in the Bible , God speaks of being in the world not of it, to not be affected by the affairs of the world around us. This is 100% true( of course) and we as Christians are to follow this.


Christians are representing Jesus Christ, we are to carry ourselves differently, dress differently, look different, listen to Christian music. Many people confuse this with that we think we are better than everyone else. This is NOT true!

We do this because we are representing our Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ and He has told us to not be of the world!


There is a girl at my church ( name not going to be revealed) who goes to a public highschool. Everywhere she carries her Bible, she wears skirts and modest clothing every day, not a drop of makeup. The school has nicknamed her "holy girl'' Does she let that get her down? No she doesn't.


"They hated me, so also will they hate you"


We are going to be persecuted, we are going to be put down. Hey! The Christian life is not an easy peasy pumpkin peasy life!


"For the way to Heaven is crooked and narrow, and hard to go by but the way to Hell is easy."


It is hard to get to Heaven, life isn't always going to treat you perfectly. But does that mean you have to fall and give up? No it doesn't. Stand up for what you believe in, don't let kids make fun of you and don't take it to heart.


"Blessed are the persecuted for they shall gain the kingdom of Heaven."


The persecuted , the martyrs , they all have gained special spots in Heaven. Be proud to be a Christian, be proud to be different. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise that your faith is stupid. Because we know that Christianity is the one true way.


"For I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one shall come to the Father except by Me."
