Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24The Psalmist writes to God with a contrite heart. He says "Search me, O God..." He knew that there was some things in him that he needed to be taken out. He knew that his heart wasn't completely right. He cried out to God from the depths of his heart and asked God to search him. He didn't stop there though, he went on to say try me ... and see if there be any wicked way in him. There was something that he needed to be removed from him to be taken to a higher level. There's something that needs to be taken out of you so that you can be taken to a higher level.
That's why you're stagnant. God wants to purge you. He wants to make you whiter than snow. You cannot only desire to be pure but you have to seek God and He will cleanse you. Devote some time to Him and go to Him with your needs. You have to say like Jacob said, "I'm not going to let you go until you bless me..." And with that you must say, "I won't let anyone or anything get in the way of my blessing. I will keep my eyes upon Jesus and believe Him for my miracle."
Jesus is a miracle worker. He can do anything for you. He's well able. But He won't do it unless you trust Him. Be obedient to His words and you will receive your miracle. The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. So, if you need a miracle from God just cry out, as the psalmist did, from the depths of your heart by faith, believing that God is able. And believe me, whatever you need you will receive.
