Salvation is a free gift that Jesus Christ purchased by His blood.
Jesus was beaten, spit upon, mocked, He was nailed to a cross just for you and me.
He allowed all of this so that we could have salvation.
Maybe you'd think "Well, Why would Jesus care so much for me to die for me? Who am I that He would care?'
What you don't understand is that in the Eyes of God you are a treasure and a beautiful creature.
God loves you 100 % and He didn't want to see you go to Hell - A place of torment, fire and worms.
He wants you to live with Him in paradise forever.
So, He came down to earth as a human to die just for you.
Because He loves you.
'Why would He love me? I have done nothing good. I've only done bad things in my life. I'm worthless'
The Apostle paul says that 'Salvation does not come by works..."
God doesn't love you based on how good or bad you are.
He loves you 100%. God's nature is to love so He can do no other.
He loves you unconditionally and in His eyes you are a treasure.
You're not worthless; If you'd only know how much you're worth.
Don't let anyone tell you that you are worthless.
You are a perfect design of God.
You, I, and everyone else have been created perfect.
Because of the sins of Adam and Eve, sin is in our bloodline so we do wrong.
Think of Gold, when the miners find gold its dirty and no one wants it because they don't know its value.
The miners do know the value so they take the gold and takes it through a process of purification.
When the gold is pure it is now envied and wanted by everyone because its beauty is shown.
You are just like gold.
You are so valuable but for you're really purity to come through and to manifest you must allow God to work in your life.
You must trust Him and know that He will make you pure.
He'll bring out that original masterpiece in you.
So, now that you've heard of salvation and God's love for you . . .
I guess you'd like to know how you can get salvation.
Its free!
To simplify it here are simpler steps:
1. Hearing the word of God
2. Believing
3. Repentance
4. Baptism in water
5. Baptism of the spirit.
1. Hearing the Word of God - When you read this you are currently hearing the Word of God. You're hearing God telling you something through me. There are many ways that you can hear the Word of God. Someone can preach to you in a church, A friend can talk to you, you can be reading a blog entry, you may be reading a Bible, etc. Once you hear, you are lead to your next step.
2. Believing God and His Word - When you hear the Word then you might either believe it and believe God or you might reject God and His Word. [ I pray that you don't reject this] Once you believe God, you believe that God will take care of you, you trust Him, and you believe that He loves you. You also realize that you're life before was not right and you need to change. That brings us to step number 3.
3. Repentance (Turning from former life) - The word 'repent' means to change or to turn from your ways. It can also mean to ask for forgiveness. To be on your way to salvation you need to do these three. First you need to acknowledge that you're living wrong and you need to ask for forgiveness of your sins. (I'm sorry for . . . ) Then you need to actually stop doing the things you would normally do. You need to begin to live for God.
4. Baptism of water - This is the fourth step. You need to go to a church and ask the pastor to baptize you. If the pastor isn't willing to "baptize (immerse) you in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission (removal) of sins. . ." (Acts 2:38) then go somewhere else! But make sure that you have been baptized.
5. Baptism of the Holy Spirit - This is the last and most important step. A Pastor cannot baptize you with the Holy Spirit - Only Jesus can. All you have to is have faith (Believe - Step 2) in Jesus and ask Him for it. Just pray and say 'Lord please fill me with your spirit. . .' and He will fill you if you truly want to be filled. The signs of being filled with the Holy Spirit are the Nine Gifts of the Spirit but the most common sign is speaking in new tongues as the spirit of God gives you utterance. He will make you speak and the words will flow out of your mouth.
Congratulations! You have started your walk with Jesus, now you need to continue to walk with Him. Don't turn back to your old ways and keep moving forward. The Holy Spirit will teach you things, lead you, and guide you. Remember to read His word (Holy Bible) because it is food for your spirit. Jesus is your defender and He will fight for you and He will not let you stray from Grace.
Jesus Loves You and He always will, no matter what!
