A few years ago, all I wanted to do was fit in with everyone else. I wanted to be a part of the "cool" crowd. No matter how hard I tried, I was always rejected. Not only was I shot down, but I was endlessly picked on for what I thought was "no reason." I would always wonder why I was rejected and why everyone was against me. What I didn't know was that I was meant to be more than just part of the crowd.
Many young people in my generation are focused on fitting in and joining the crowd. What we need to realise is that God has called us out of the crowds. It's time for the children of God all over the world to begin to step out of the crowd. It's time for us to step out and do what God called us to.
Chosen people of God have been put out of cliques and crowds but we don't know why. God is calling us out of the groups; out of the cliques. God wants to use us but he cannot use us when there are obstacles standing in our way. These barriers need to be teared down and these things need to come out of our lives.
God has a mission for you. God has a purpose for you. For that purpose to be fulfilled in you, you need to let go of some things you've loved. You need to let go of some things you cherish. You cannot be a part of the world and a part of the church. God is calling for true believers; He's calling for people who are ready and willing to stand up for this gospel. God is calling for people who are not afraid of being rejected by this world. God is calling for a group of radical believers who are willing to stand out.
The church needs real people who are ready to profess their faith wherever they go; regardless of the situation. Many people are fine with telling how much they love Jesus inside the church. How many people are willing to go beyond the church doors to profess their faith to the world?
There is something inside you that the devil wants but he cannot have. It isn't just "no reason" why you are rejected by the world. It is because you have treasure within you. You can show love to your enemies, you can have joy when you lost your job, you can have faith when there seems to be no way out and you can have peace when commotion is taking place all around you. These people look at you and envy you for this and because of that they try to bring you down. Don't let them bring you down but let God take you higher because of them. Don't try to fit in with them because you were called to be different. Are you ready to step out of the crowd?
i totaly agree with this.amen!!!!!!!!
