I want someone to do this for me. It doesn't matter what religion you are or what church you belong to, you are a child of God and He loves you. I want you to go to God with an open heart and I want you to seek Him earnestly. Present your supplication to Him; He'll hear you. It doesn't matter what you're going through, know that God cares and He will be with you every step of the way. When the enemy tries to bring up your past, remind him of his future. He has none! But, you have a future that God planned for you. Jeremiah 1:5 tells us how God called you even before you were in the womb and He sanctified you for a purpose. He's not going to tell you of this purpose, but you need to trust Him because He knows what He's doing.
Hebrews 11:1 says that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen. God has a plan for your life, but you need to walk with Him by faith. Now, to walk with God by faith you have to put away your knowledge and your beliefs. You have to let His word speak to you because that's where you'll find truth. Christianity is not a religion. We don't strive to memorize the most Bible verses, or to keep hundreds of laws. We seek Jesus. Don't let anyone fool you, to be a Christian you need to begin to seek Jesus. Don't seek your church and their teachings, don't seek the laws, and don't seek other people but seek the face of the One who died for you. You look to the Bible to find Him. Don't look to the Bible with clouded eyes, but look through the eyes of faith and whatever Jesus tells you to do, do it. Many people want to get everyone to be Christians, so they teach them about good works and rituals. "Be good and you'll go to Heaven" they say but that's wrong. Seek the kingdom of God and you shall find it. Knock and it shall be opened unto you. Ask and you shall receive. Jesus is tenderly calling with His arms wide open. He's waiting for you to abandon the rituals and practices of your church and seek Him. He wants YOU.
